Work started today on the historic Baby Point Club. The club, located in the heart of beautiful Baby Point, is a community based and run organization that has tennis and lawn bowling facilities and hosts many community gathering throughout the year.
The interior of the club needed updating (updated bathroom and kitchen), but as with most renos, today would be the day where we'd see what was underneath the veneer of the interior of the club house.
Sometimes, watching the demo take place can be a little bit like watching a car accident... you don't really want to see what's underneath the outer layer, but you can't look away! Fortunately, all looked pretty good in the early goings.
The exterior walls, though not surprisingly, were disappointingly barren of any insulation. That would be something we'd need to rectify asap... warm weather notwithstanding!
The demo will continue tomorrow. Fingers crossed for no more surprises.
