The electrical in the club, after exposing all of the interior studs, was in really rough shape. It was no surprise - a combination of really old, ungrounded wire, knob and tube, aluminum wiring and some semi current stuff - all that makes for a pretty unreliable network of power. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was unsafe, but suffice to say, it's all got to go! Eduardo was in during demolition to make the system safe for the demo guys, and he's now begun roughing in new potlights, fixtures and outlets, while removing the "crap" as the professionals say....
Meanwhile, Juvanal and Mick have begun framing some of the new partitions, and moving doorways - nothing major, just prep stuff. We have some of the materials for the next stage of the job arriving - including some much needed insulation. With a slow week between Christmas and New Year's next week, we're looking forward to going full speed the week of January 4th. Merry Christmas everyone!
